APHID CONTROL

Ladybugs:

A generalist predator of many soft bodied insects such as thrips and mites but serves best for aphid control.
Each unit will cover 10 medium size shrubs.

Aphidoletes aphidimyza:

              One of the first predators of aphids found in the Spring, this midge does a whole lot of feeding. 

              The adult midge feeds on flower nectar while the larvae eats the meaty aphids.  Aphidoletes is shipped as               larvae and will cover 10 infested plants.

SPIDERMITE CONTROL

              MIGHTY MITES (P. persimilis):

Takes control and eliminates the Two- spotted Spidermite covering 50-100 small plants or 500 square feet.
Mighty Mites are great for indoor and outdoor use. A second application is recommended 10 days after the
first application. This product stores for 7 days at 8 Celsius. As soon as spidermites appear, call for the Mighty Mites.

HOT MITES ( A.fallacis):
A broad spectrum mite that will take charge of most pest mites covering 10 shrubs about 6 feet tall or 500 square feet.
This product stores for 7 days at 8 Celsius. As soon as spidermites appear, call for HOT MITES.

FUNGUS GNAT CONTROL

HYPE-O (Hypoaspis miles):
A serious soil predator, this small mite will feed upon fungus gnat eggs and larvae, weevil eggs, bulb mites and thrips, covering 200 square feet.

MEALY BUG PREDATOR

CRYPTS (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri):
A ladybug with a whole different look.  This black bodied, red faced beetle loves the mealybug that attacks your jade plant, cactus and hibiscus.  5  beetles will cover 1 moderately infested plant. "Humid indoor areas ONLY!"

COLDSHOTS (Steinernema kraussei)
Get those root vine weevils early in the year with a minimum soil temperature of 5 Celsius. This pack easily covers 20 shrubs or 130 square feet. Nematodes need to be kept in a refrigerator and used within 4-6 weeks for best effect. Application time is mid March-May. These COLDSHOTS are great for rhodos, hydrangeas and a variety of shrubs that weevils enjoy!

Shipping is done via 1-2 day courier to avoid extended time in transit. Our insects are packaged in styrocoolers with gel ice packs to ensure insects stay cool and dormant through transit process.

Storage:
All beneficial products are living organisms and therefore perishable. Product should be released upon receipt unless otherwise specified.
